RxCAD
Measurement direct from electronic drawings into RIPAC. As well as measuring from dwg and dxf drawing files, its also permits measurements from over 200 different electronic drawing formats - html, dwf, dgn, gif, bmp, doc, xls, etc. Whatever the drawing format, RxCAD Measurement opens the drawing on screen and permits measurement direct from any image, whether Word, Excel, PDF from a website or even your own scanner or photocopier! RxCAD allows viewing and measurement, and includes recording of all measurements, colouring in, lining through specification text etc. as you include them, and marking up any notes of your own on the drawing such as colour keys. It's just like measuring from paper, except there is no paper scale rule as measurements are automatically generated and saved in the file. The drawing files can be stored with the project and opened (or printed) at any time. And when revised drawing files arrive just use the 'Overlay' facility to compare against the previous copy and instantly see what has been amended.
